The Junta Feels The Bite

The US and other leading democratic countries' sanctions against the Burma Junta seemed to be working well. In fact it works so well that they are barking nervously like trapped wild dogs and also feeling sorry for themselves as victims. Although the junta always accuses the west for trying to spoil their 50 years fun of gun power success, it is the west where their families and friends are now settling in so it would be interesting to see if the junta will change their mind and resettle in the countries more suited to them, like China, Russia or North Korea. 'Fear Is A Habit'. The Junta Is Frightened To Death

The frightened Junta, who has a lot of things to hide is trying to stop the media and communication exposing their crime. Here and here for full reports. And here.

They are also arresting everyone who is a threat to what they think is a secure criminal society, away from the civilisation. Here. And here.

Why Is the Junta So Worried About the Media and Communication?

The Junta, who understandably fears the news and information of the biggest crime they have recently committed - The Genocide - being leaked to the outside world and is now doing everything in their power to stop the communication between Burmese public and the media. Every internet cafe' and telecommunication system has been monitored and each user being watched. Here. 'Fear Is A Habit'. The Junta must be frightened to death.

The Cowardly Junta Arresting Old Ladies

The world's most cowardly group of people - The Burma Junta - must have gone so frightened by the protest of its own unarmed citizens that they started arresting little old ladies. Here for reports. What a pity. For other nations, their country's military is their pride and joy, their brave heroes who are willing to give their lives for the freedom of the fellow country people. Shamefully, this is not the case in Burma. The Junta in Burma are so cowardly that they can only come face to face with people who are armless and defenceless. Yet, they are still too frightened to face the grown up men, they prefer to deal with women, young people and now the records are going down so low that they prefer to deal (arrest and torture) the little old ladies, who could be the same age as their mothers and grandmothers. What next? Watch out little babies and toddlers. in case you shout out 'Dote Aayee'- Freedom - in Burmese word.

Some Junta Leaders See the Light

Fortunately, for all human beings who search for love and peace in the world, it is a great relief to know that the not everyone in Bumra Junta are monsterous evils who enjoy raping women, torturing armless men before killing them all at night or behind doors and then cowardly destorying all the evidence of the crime. Some bright youg intelligent officers must have got the fact their future as being in the Junta, even when they become generals themselves oneday, is very bleak. Who would admire the armforce, that killed it's own ararmed public? If their recent crime has been posted and published all over the world, what next? What is the future of their families? Would they liked to be in the place of Thandar Shwe, who is the most sweared at person in Youtube video clips alone (there are over 300 F words for her and her followers) who are now in hiding with their families in some small countries, waiting for the plastic surgery to change faces? Any one with more than two brain cells could see that this is not the future they want. The question is that how to get out of it? See here for reports on junta.

What should the families and friends of the Regime do now?

Here are a few suggestions you may want to consider :

1) Cult style mass suicide - you all gather together in one big place, perhaps in your new captical in the jungle and then everyone has a sip of poison portion. Make it better by mixing it with some champagne.
2) Invite all the friends of your husbands to a big party then poison their drinks. You are quite likely to receive a noble peace prize for clearing all the baddies of the country.
3) Run away to the border, to other countries. Do not forget that your faces are clearly printed and circulated all around the world, especially if you attended that wedding of the century, so you might have to consider changing your face. Here a few of the sites .

Wives And Daughters of the Junta

Life has been comfortable and luxurious for the families and friends of the junta up until now - the killing of the monks and civilians, the genocide, the raiding of the monasteries and houses, the torture - and suddendly things are becoming quite serious. The worst thing is that they have also been quite unwittingly under the spotlight, globally, thanks to the latest technology. When they all marched on that red carpet in the best outfits to attend the wedding of daughter of the junta number one Than Shwe, no one had thought that their faces will be clearly filmed and forecasted repeatedly and even becoming the most watched videos, in places like Youtube.Click here to view it. Youtube alone has 24 of the wedding clips, viewed by thousands of people, who then copied and spreaded all over the world again. GIRLS! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW? Obviously the higher ranked and probably most responsible ones have run away to hide in other countries but if you are a lowly ranked military officer you are to stay in Burma and face the consequences of the unlawful crime - killing your own country people who were unarmed. Here for the full report. And here.

Companies in Burma

Check if you have anything to do with these:

Do you know these companies? Do you work there? or know someone who works there? How do they feel about people being killed in the most cruel and brutal way you can ever imagine, in the country that these companies are making money, and you being paid?

You do not have to resign or try to stop your company working there. Just make sure that your colleagues and directors know that this is not right and you all need to take immediate actions to stop the killings and destroying the evidence.

What is the dirty list? The world is watching you !

There are a lot of debate about foreign companies trading, producing, manufacturing and investing in Burma. I personally think that we should be grateful to have a third party who could be a mutual agent for both the junta and the public. Not only the job opportunities, the public also has other benifits such as high technology communications with the outside world. Although it is very obvious that the public still has the minimum share of profit in this triangular arrangement, it is still a great relief for most people to have another option other than to either join the junta or starve to death or beaten to death if you dare to stand up.

Those modern technology, which came along with the foreign companies has a crucial link to the world and Burma, which has stayed behind the closed doors for over 40 years. No doubt those CEO, MDs and Directors of those companies in Burma know exactally how they will have to react to the jants' current brutal bloody crackdown on thousands of peacefully protesting monks and civilians. Are the companies too greedy, ignorant, errogant or too afraid of the janta to react in most sensible way?

Is The Army Splitting Up ?

It is confirmed that Yangon's Brigadier General Hla Htay Win and family are now under house arrest and Colonel Htay Win from Battalion 99 has defected to Thai Border. Rumours are also spreading around that the younger and more intelligent officers are extremely upset about the military's brutal crackdown on the recent protests, especially to the monks who Burmese put in the same rank as Lord Buddha. The graphic pictures of the body of the monk, obviously being tortured and burnt before thrown into a river in Rangoon has shocked not only Burmese but the whole world. The military men and their families are now thinking seriously about their own security as if the rulers can treat to the monks, who recieve the highest respect in the society, normally, they can turn their gus to anyone , including their own officers, when it comes to protect their power and wealth.

Maung Aye's Wife

Mya Mya San, wife of Vice-Senior General Maung Aye is in Singapore for a medical check-up, sources told Mizzima.Mya Mya San has been suffering from a thyroid problem and has been in Singapore for a week but it is yet to be ascertained which hospital she is in.
Eyewitness told Mizzima that Mya Mya San along with a group of women were shopping in Takashima-Ya Japanese Supermarket on Orchad Road in Singapore last Friday.
“They were all wearing longyi and looking around. She was wearing a simple dress. They were saying, “Oh, this is beautiful, that is beautiful”. They seem to be relaxed”, the eyewitness said. Two body guards in plain clothes were following the group.
Sources close to the military told Mizzima that General Maung Aye went along with his wife on the trip.
Singapore is a safe place for Burmese generals for treatment and shopping. Than Shwe (73), the head of the State Peace and Development Council secretly visited Singapore last month for treatment and stayed for two weeks.

Army strongmen who call the shots in Burma.

Burma's military junta is officially known as the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC). It is made up of 12 senior generals. But power is concentrated in the hands of just a few...

THAN SHWE. Than Shwe, the xenophobic military strongman who has been Burmese Head of State since 1992, has the titles of Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces and Chairman of the SPDC.
It is unknown whether he was born in 1929 or 1933, but either way he is well over the official retirement age for generals of 60, and has ambitions to remain in the presidency for life.
After working as a postal clerk, he joined the army at 20. Specialising in psychological warfare, he has been decorated 16 times.
Dogged recently by worsening health, he has cut back on public appearances after a top-secret week-long stay at Singapore's

General Hospital in December 2006. He is known to suffer from diabetes and hypertension, and is rumoured to have intestinal cancer.
Than Shwe was criticised for the excessive, expensive celebrations at his daughter's recent wedding, seen here on YouTube. A strong believer in astrology, he regularly consults E Thi, a blind peasant with a speech impediment, for advice. He loathes opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, and in 2004 jailed his prime minister, Khin Nyunt, and his family for supporting her greater involvement in Burma's political process.

MAUNG AYE The Burmese junta's ruthless second-in- command has played an often Machiavellian role in his work with the intelligence service. He is renowned as a hard drinker. Like his superior, Maung Aye is chronically sick: he has suffered from prostate cancer since 2003. Where he differs from Than Shwe is in his dealings with the opposition - he would be

more inclined to negotiate with Suu Kyi. The vice-chairman of the SPDC is not, however, a liberal voice. Maung Aye has a poor human rights record in his dealings with Burmese ethnic groups. There are also rumours about his connections with illegal drugs in Burma's Golden Triangle during the late 1970s and 80s. Despite his age, 69, and poor health, he is unlikely to pass up the chance to succeed Than Shwe.

SHWE MANN Shwe Mann, 60, is the third-highest-ranking figure in the SPDC, and considered more likely to inherit the presidency. A career soldier who was promoted to the rank of general in 2003, he fought with distinction against the Karen Liberation Army in 1989. Loyal to Than Shwe, Soe is known as the ‘Butcher of Depayin’ for ordering the killing of pro-democracy protestors it was this opportunistic military man, nicknamed 'Thura', who was believed to have flown to Singapore to receive instructions from his hospitalised leader.
Known for a more modern outlook, he has taken a lead in economic affairs, with attempts to develop gem businesses and rice mills, allegedly to the financial advantage of his son's company. Despite his very public presence, little is known about Shwe Mann. There are no records of his views about Suu Kyi, and no knowledge of his role in the suppression of the 1988 pro-democracy protests.

SOE WIN Soe Win, 58, was appointed to the largely ceremonial role of prime minister after Khin Nyunt's fall from grace in 2004. Like many other members of the junta he is seriously ill, and after flying to Singapore in May for treatment it is believed that he is suffering from leukaemia.
Soe Win is known as the 'Butcher of Depayin' for ordering the killing of followers of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi in Sagaing Division in May 2003. He also commanded the troops who shot democracy protestors in 1988 in front of Rangoon General Hospital, and is known to have increased the persecution of Christians during his tenure as a Regional Commander.
