PDC Encourages Corrupt Official

Since the beginning of May, land survey official Tin Maung Win has been demanding farm shelter repair fees from the farmers in his catchment area, 'inventing' a charge of between K 20,000/- to 50,000/- each.

The farmers, who are all due to repair and maintain their paddy shelters themselves for the new ploughing season, were unhappy about this unnecessary extra cost and have reported the case to Kyauk Tan Peace and Development Council. So far no action has been taken against this blatantly corrupt official.

လယ္သမားမ်ားသည္၊ ဤကိစၥအတြက္ တံတားၿမိဳ႕အာဏာပိုင္မ်ားကို တိုင္ၾကားေသာ္လည္း အပစ္ေပး အေရးယူျခင္း မရွိသည့္အျပင္ အထက္အဆင့္ျဖစ္သည့္ ေက်ာက္တန္းၿမိဳ႕နယ္ မယကကို ထပ္မံတိုင္ၾကား ျပန္ေသာ္လည္း ထူးျခားမႈ မရွိပါ၊၊
