PDC Chairman Throws Tantrum At Farmers

As a Chairman of Peace and Development Council, U Nyunt Soe should be in an enviable position, leading the peaceful development of the life of the residents of Zee Gone Township. However, he found his job unexpectedly stressful and so much so that he completely lost his 'cool' at a meeting and threw a tantrum like a two-year-old toddler.

On 23rd April, U Nyunt Soe held a meeting with local farmers at Taung Ye'Gan, asking for payment for the lease of their farmlands. The farmers agreed to pay, on one condition - Nyunt Soe must produce formal receipts in return. And that single request from the farmers was too much for Nyunt Soe to bear. He completely lost his composure in full view of all at the meeting, who watched his antics in shocked amazement.

"The lease hold farmers were summoned to attend the meeting at a house in Taung Ye'Gun. The Chairman asked them for lease payments. The farmers just said , 'OK, we will. But we need the legal receipts', and with that he (Nyunt Soe) went into rage. You should have seen him smashing all the crockery and glasses."
