Who Raped The Seven Year Old Girl ?

A garrison engineer’s unit , camped at a village school in Kyauk Le' , Maung Daw, Rakine

A group of soldiers from Construction Engineer Battalion, which based in Sittwe, had been erecting fences along the Bangladesh border. A seven year old girl, who had been raped was found unconscious in a wood, 300 yards from the school, on 7 May, at around 2 am.

" The major himself came to investigate here, where the construction soldiers camp, in the village school.The name of the rapist hasn't been revealed."

Major Aung Kyi also summoned the child's parents and told them that the reasonable amount of compensation, including medical treatment cost, would be given. He then told them not to report the case to anyone.
