On April 3, Major Khin Maung Chin led the killing of village PDC Chairman and the secretary of Pauk Pingwin, Ye' Pyu. A total of 4 villagers, who were accused of having connections with the Mon insurgents, were killed between 2nd and 3rd of April by LIB unit 107.
On April 17, Major Khin Maun Chin, again, led the Battalion 107, consisted of 50 armed soldiers, to burn down 36 houses, destroying the entire village, as a punishment.
